Here's proof that I don't just do relic'd Fender type guitars, You're probably justified in thinking that it's a Les Paul copy 'of sorts'. But I was more influenced by the 70's Yamaha SG 2000. Its pretty standard as build and materials go, but I have incorporated some nice features such as the bullet truss rod and veneered birds eye maple back such that there is no horrible black plastic control cavity cover.
The star feature is obviously the book matched flamed maple top which shows up lovely under the traditional cellulose lacqure

The problem with this guitar is the weight....I really don't like heavy guitars, in the future I may consider steaming off the birdseye veneer and routing some cavities in the body just to reduce the weight. I also may remove the frets to sand the fretboard with more of a radius at present it's very flat.
