Slash Les Paul
I don't get to work on Les Paul's very often so it makes a nice change when I get the chance. The customer wanted his existing guitar modified and relic'd, not obvious is the change to a graphtech bridge, the only clue being the extra switch between the tone controls, anyhow more text between the pictures.
Here's the finished result looking quite "Slashy"!
The guitar was refinished in nitro cellulose with a kind off lemon burst finish, although it does look a bit more red in the photo than it actually is. All the refinishing has been done in vintage correct nitro cellulose.
Here's a better representation of the colour. Heavy relicing and aged hardware to emulate the real thing.

It's always nice to do something a little different and I was very pleased with the way it turned out..... Fitting the Graphtech wiring was quite a task, there are six separate wires from each bridge saddle which I gathered and channeled through a single hole beneath the bridge and into the pickup cavity, so it's almost invisible. Have a look at www.Graphtech.com for more details.
